 The Windsurf Resort is located at Cabarete Beach, where the magic of
vast ocean, reliable winds and fun people all come together. In fact, this is one of the
few issues World Champions agree on. Cabarete is described in the July 1995 issue of
Windsurfing Magazine as "one of the best windsurfing beaches in the world." Starting with light morning breezes and picking up throughout the day the Trade Winds let you pick the ideal windsurfing time for your level of expertise. Sailing is safe thanks to the  side/onshore
wind which brings in tired sailors to the well known Bozo Beach. In the east
is a shallow reef

that acts as a wave breaker creating easy and safe launching enjoyed by beginners. A deep
reef about 1/4 mile out, creates wave sailing conditions, challenging for experts but yet
user friendly. Speed Slalom sailors shred the distance between the shore and the reef
waves.
The
CaribBic beach center also offers equipment rental on a daily or longer-term basis and has
equipment storage facilities. The sports shop located on the beach sells all sailing
gear and equipment, clothes and shoes, wetsuits, sun protection, and more. 
Located
at our beach center, the thirsty and hungry sailor will find the "Green Room," a quaint
beach bar open from 11am-9pm daily. The beach bar offers a delicious lunch menu,
specialty house drinks, and great music and conversation. Greens is the favorite
happy hour spot of most of the local windsurfers.
